I’m sorry it took me so long to upload another game, to make up for it, I’m doing it in video! The chopstick game is a suitable ice breaker game for your meetings. To start it off, you can let them play in a free-for-all format, and the people are eliminated if they lose 3 times in a row. Leaving the last 2 person to do a showdown. Let me know if you have any questions, leave your comments below. And thanks Vivien for helping me out in the demonstration!

Materials Needed:
NA

Noise Level:
Medium

Neutrals:
Game Master who will determine the players and scoring

Preparation:
1. Gamemaster plans the rules for the rounds. For example, round 1 = addition, round 2 = multiplication etc

How To Play?
1) There should be two teams playing against each other, and each time they have to send a representative (game master can choose to send 2 or 3 from each team to increase the difficulty) out. After which, there will be several rounds going on, i.e. Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication.
2) Representative is to show the number of fingers (from 0 to 10) in each round. If it is the round of addition, then the fastest player who shout out the correct answer of the total number of fingers shown by the two players win.
3) Subtraction round will be taking the larger number of fingers subtracting the smaller number of fingers. Multiplication round will be simply multiplying the number of fingers.
4) Points will be given according to t he answers of that round, i.e. (Addition round, player 1 shows 5 fingers and payer 2 shows 3 fingers, answer is 8. Points for that round will be 8 points.)

This is a fun and easy to prepare icebreaker for meetings. Guess the Acronyms in their groups. It can be quite humorous to see how the people can creatively come up with acronyms that they have no idea what it is.

Game Description:

This is a fun and easy meeting ice breaker by letting the people guess the full meaning of acronyms. It is suitable for all ages and meetings, though adults would probably be more knowledgeable. It can be rather humorous to see how the people can creatively come up with names when they have no idea what the acronym means. For Example, in stead of Doctor of Philosophy, PHD becomes Permanent Head Damage. Yes you will be surprised by the answers they give!

Number of players:

Any

Materials Needed:

A sheet of paper and marker for each group

Noise Level:

Low

Neutrals:

Game Master who will give out questions and scoring

Preparation:

Prepare a list of acronyms, like NASA, IKEA, NATO, SCUBA etc, you can easily get a list of acronyms by googling “acronyms”. The difficulty of the acronyms will be dependent on the background and age group of the people.

How To Play

Players will be divided into groups of 3-5

Game master will shout out an acronym, for example, “HTML”

Group will have to discuss and write the correct answer into the piece of paper

Winning group will be the one with the most correct answers.
